Position Overview

A vacancy has arisen to join the firm as an associate or senior associate in our Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team.
The role would involve advising and assisting clients in connection with (among others):
- Company formation and continuation of companies to and from Malta;
- Drafting and negotiation of shareholders’ agreements and joint venture agreements;
- Directors’ duties, corporate governance and corporate compliance;
- Mergers & acquisitions;
- Issues of equity and debt securities on regulated markets and secondary offerings;
- Insolvency and restructuring; and
- General corporate and commercial law matters.
While candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, the ideal candidate will:
- Possess a Law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta;
- Have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese;
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in corporate law;
- Be pro-active and able to work against tight deadlines; and
- Be willing to undergo continued professional development and training.
