Paul Felice

Paul Felice is a junior associate working primarily in the Telecoms, Media and Technology department at Mamo TCV Advocates.

He graduated Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta following the successful defence of a thesis entitled ‘Insolvency proceedings of Maltese companies: a critical overview of selected issues with particular reference to recent jurisprudence’.

Paul joined the firm as a trainee in 2015 and has since obtained experience in the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution department as well as the Financial Services department. His current area of practice is Telecoms, Media and Technology law with specific emphasis on Data Protection.

The Article 29 Working Party ('WP29') has recently adopted and subsequently finalised its long-awaited guidelines on Consent as well as those on Transparency under Regulation 2016/679 (the 'GDPR'). These long-awaited guidelines form part of the many GDPR related guidelines, opinions and recommendations issued by the WP29 aimed to help practitioners, controllers and processors alike to better understand the workings and intricacies of the imminent GDPR. Earlier this month the United States Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs met in open session to conduct a hearing entitled 'Virtual Currencies: The Oversight Role of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission'.
