Dr. Zachary Galea (centre), an Associate in our Corporate and Shipping practice areas, presented a donation to Rennie and Angele at Puttinu Cares on behalf of Mamo TCV. Puttinu Cares is a children's cancer support group that aims to offer a holistic approach of care for families with children suffering from cancer. On the 11th of April 2022, the Malta Financial Services Authority (the "MFSA") issued a circular entitled "The Introduction of Appendix 2E – A New Regulatory Return for Licence Holders Offering Depositary Services Solely to Collective Investment Schemes". In a joint press release issued on 25 March 2022, it was announced that the European Commission and the U.S. Government have agreed on a Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (the 'Framework') which would succeed the EU-US Privacy Shield (which had, in turn, succeeded the previous 'Safe Harbour' mechanism).
